Collaborate with your group mates to develop the short film idea, create a complete storyboard, and pitch it to the class. Also, think about the technique, develop the concept and characters design and share your designs and ideas to the class.
For this assignment, all members of the group need to take part in the presentation. Developing the idea and refining it is a group effort. Talk to each other to make arrangements on who draws the storyboard, who pitches it to the class, and who works on the character development and concept.
Storyboard:
First think about the shot type(close up, wide shot, etc). Once you are set with the shot size, think about composition and staging in terms of the location of the scene elements and their distance to the camera. After framing and staging, think about the key poses of your characters and those are the critical poses that tell the story of the scene. Push each pose through exaggeration, facial expressions, clear lines of action, and a telling silhouette. Think of each storyboard frame as a story told in one frame. It should be clear what the audience needs to know and feel. Remember, clarity is the first thing to consider in storyboarding. Details that are not crucial to the story are distracting and shouldn’t be in the storyboard.
Storyboard Submission:
